What We Hunt

We hunt trophy bull elk, red stag, and native northern whitetail from September through January.

How We Hunt

We take only one party at a time. A party may consist of up to four hunters. But we encourage individual hunters. We specialize in quality, not quantity. Hunts are three days in length or until the hunter harvests his or her animals.

We hunt any way you want. There are only 12 elevated stands strategically located on this 1,400-acre property if you wish to stand hunt. We can also organize small drives to get the animals moving past the hunter. Some hunters may wish to spot and stalk hunt the field edges and thickets. Our personal favorite is the still hunt when conditions are right. This is the most challenging hunt and tests the hunter's skills to the max. You tell us how you want to hunt and we'll accommodate you.

We begin hunting September 15th and usually end December 15th.  Earlier or later hunts are possible, depending on the weather and the condition of the animals.  Every year we do a few snowmobile hunts, which are a lot of fun.

Weather can vary from the low 70's in September to the single digits and below in late December.  Snow usually comes by mid-November so bring warm layering clothes, gloves and insulated boots.

This is not a canned hunt.  We guarantee trophy animals and the opportunity to harvest them.

If you bag your trophy early you can also enjoy a grouse or woodcock hunt or work the clear-cuts, field edges, and swamps for snowshoe hare... maybe even accompany us on a little evening coyote hunt.
